With Valentine’s Day coming up, I wanted to share a super sweet (and easy!) Valentine’s Day craft – a fortune “cookie” valentine made out of Airheads Candy! Yum!
The supplies…
- Airheads Candy (I used Cherry, Strawberry, and White Mystery)
- Parchment paper
- A cup (to trace your fortune “cookie” circle)
- Two pieces of a drinking straw, approx. 2 inches each
- Scissors (make sure they’re clean)
- Rolling pin
Directions:
And here are some photos of the fortune cookies on display….
I used some of the leftover Airheads to make the cupcake decorations!

Also if you like this idea, vote for it on the Airheads Facebook page (click on “Contests” in the top buttons) – it’s part of the “Craft your valentine contest”!

Took me a sec to figure out what eyes had to do with valentines day! These fortune cookies are so cute and look easy enough to make! I think I’ll try these, thanks for the great idea
You’re welcome Laurie!
I was wondering how you would remove the straw after you’ve formed the cookies?
The straw will come right out..and they sometimes fall out after you freeze them. But if you don’t stick something like a straw in each end then your cookie may look flat! I hope this helps!!
Hey! I wanted to know how you would remove the straws after the cookies are frozen enough?
You just pull the straw out. The straw should be really easy to remove…especially when you take the cookie out of the freezer (the straws practically fall out at that point).
